Management Team

Jenkins Ravenel
Chief Executive Officer
Jenkins Ravenel has spent over 10 years consulting for international companies reporting to C-level executives. He has extensive experience in corporate governance and control and is a published mobility industry subject matter expert. Jenks’ experience includes over 23 years managing technology within a major global financial services company and is experienced in several Business Process Management methodologies. He is a Certified Green Belt – Six Sigma Methodology, “Design for Six Sigma” designation. He has extensive knowledge of multiple networking environments, business software packages, and wireless and mobile solutions for business.
Jenks earned a BS degree in Mathematics from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina and an MBA from the University of South Carolina, Moore School of Business. He also graduated from the North Carolina School of Banking, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Jenks started his career with Electronic Data Systems in Dallas, Texas, spent a few years with Arthur Andersen Consulting before ending up at NCNB National Bank, the predecessor of Bank of America in Charlotte, North Carolina. He retired as a Senior Vice President after 23 years in many parts of the company.
Mr. Ravenel has served on the advisory councils of Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, Boxtone, Mocana, Bluefire Technologies, and Research in Motion. He also served as a member of the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee, Washington, D.C., Presidential Committee responsible for advising national policy for the wireless industry.
A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Jenks lives with his wife, Gwynne, and children in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is an avid sailor and mountain biker.

Elad Yoran
Executive Chairman
Elad Yoran is Executive Chairman of KoolSpan, CEO of Security Growth Partners (SGP) and Associate Adjunct Professor at Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). He is a 20+ year cybersecurity executive and entrepreneur, among other things having founded and led many foundational cyber companies.
He serves as director at Infinidat as well as on several government and industry boards including the Army Cyber Institute, the Cloud Security Alliance, and previously, the FBI IT Advisory Council. Elad is the author of many articles going back to the original Internet Security Threat Report research papers. Elad’s cybersecurity entrepreneurial experience, for which he was honored as “Entrepreneur of the Year” by E&Y, includes Riptech, acquired by Symantec; MediaSentry, acquired by SafeNet; Sentrigo, acquired by McAfee; Vaultive, acquired by CyberArk and others. Previously, Elad served as VP Global Business Development at Symantec. In addition, Elad was a strategic investor and director/advisor to Red Owl Analytics, acquired by Forcepoint; NetWitness, acquired by RSA; ThreatGrid, acquired by Cisco; and Insightix, acquired by McAfee.
Previously, Elad served as a U.S. Army officer and is a veteran of Operation Restore Hope in Mogadishu, Somalia. He is a graduate of the Wharton School and West Point.

Alessandro Ossoli
Vice President of Business Development
Alessandro has over 20 years of experience in innovative security solutions for enterprises, governments, carriers and public institutions internationally. In his role, Alessandro ensures KoolSpan’s product maintains the highest standards of quality and security, and KoolSpan’s business evolves to address and anticipate very demanding customer’s requirements in terms of security.
Alessandro holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication at Politecnico di Torino University and a Master in Security Applied to Telecommunications. Before joining KoolSpan, he served as Senior Product Manager and Project Manager in Telecom Italia Mobile Carrier, managing the business development of innovative security solutions for smartphones.
Alessandro is based in Italy.

Steve Kang
Regional Sales Director, Asia Pacific
Steve Kang has over 12 years of experience in the Information and Telecommunication Industry with extensive experience in Product Marketing, Account Management and B2B Sales Management.
Before joining KoolSpan, Steve worked at Motorola Mobility in Korea, where he led Go-To-Market Strategy and developed a strategic partnership with SK Telecom, facilitating a sell-in of Mobile Smartphones. Prior to Motorola, Steve held a Sales and Product Marketing position with Samsung Electronics, where he was involved in marketing innovative products across international markets. He then moved to Sales where he built up B2B sales and managed major corporate accounts selling IT components.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Korea University. Steve also served in the Republic of Korea Army where he was awarded a certificate of Appreciation from Air Vice-Marshal of the U.S. Air Force for outstanding contribution of service to the U.S. Forces.

Dejan Momirovic
Vice President of Cloud Infrastructure and Operations
Dejan is the Vice President for IT Cloud Infrastructure and Operations at KoolSpan. He is operationally responsible for ensuring the global availability, integrity, and scalability of all KoolSpan IT systems and infrastructure.
A co-founder and Vice President of Bethesda Robotics Inc., a UAS R&D software company, Dejan has over 20 years of IT operations and team management experience. He has designed and implemented Information Communication Technology solutions in more than 40 countries throughout Europe, Africa, Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East.
Prior to joining KoolSpan, Dejan worked for Development Alternatives Inc., an international development corporation specializing in humanitarian consulting in developing nations.
Dejan holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kragujevac University in Serbia and a Bachelor of Science equivalent in Computer Science from the University of New York.
