Congratulations to the 2012 National Cyber Security Hall of Fame Inductees
As a founding sponsor, I would like to congratulate this year’s 11 National Cyber Security Hall of Fame inductees.
The National Cyber Security Hall of Fame is a nonprofit that was created to honor individuals and organizations that have paved the way in the cybersecurity industry. KoolSpan is a founding sponsor of the Hall of Fame, dedicated to furthering the mission of the Hall of Fame to recognize innovators in our industry.
The board received over 200 nominations this year and narrowed down their search by looking at technology, policy, public awareness, education and business. Inductees invented technologies, effectively created awareness, promoted and delivered education, developed and influenced policy and created businesses to address>cybersecurity.
The Hall of Fame is a part of CyberMaryland 2012, a two-day conference and technology exhibit, taking place during National Cyber Security Awareness Month. The conference boasts an exciting schedule with a cyber challenge for high school and college students, conference sessions on business opportunities and innovation.
Respect the Past: Protect the Future
“Respect the Past: Protect the Future” is the Hall of Fame’s motto, summarizing its goal to recognize industry pioneers who have helped lead cybersecurity.
The inductees will be honored on Oct. 17, 2012 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baltimore, MD. General Keith B. Alexander, Commander, US Cyber Command and Director, National Security Agency and Chief, Central Security Service will be the featured speaker at the banquet and induction. If you would like to join in honoring the inductees, tickets are available at www.FBCinc.com/CyberMDconference.
