Recruits Mobile Industry Veteran to Lead APAC Expansion

Bethesda, Md. and Seoul, South Korea, – August 29, 2013 – KoolSpan Inc., developer of a suite of patented hardware-based mobile security applications, announced the opening of its first office in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, solidifying the company’s growing leadership position in a principal market of mobile innovation.

Spearheaded by Steve Kang, a former product marketing and account manager at Motorola Mobile Devices and Samsung Electronics, the new office, located in Seoul, South Korea, will help KoolSpan satisfy the unprecedented demand for mobile security solutions in the region.

The office will serve as the command center for KoolSpan’s security business throughout the entire APAC region, including SafeTalk™ the mobile security offering from S-1, the Seoul-based security division of Samsung.
