SecuriON announces a development collaboration with KoolSpan to create all-in-one mobile security products meeting global standards
KOOLSPAN, a U.S.-based software company, provides mobile security products to international governments and enterprises, including global Departments of Defense. Offering an integrated communications platform that includes chat, voice, video, and conferencing, security is the common denominator governing all of KoolSpan’s modules. KoolSpan is known in Korea for providing data security technology for Solarin, an ultra-high-end smartphone released by Israeli startup Sirin Labs.
KOOLSPAN and SecuriON will jointly develop security devices and secure call services. Additionally, SecuriON will further enhance its hacking detection solution, which was focused on the B2B market and will now also target the B2C market for general users.
"Through this collaboration, we expect to create a mobile security all-in-one product that meets global standards," said Yoo Dong-hoon, CEO of SecuriON. "It is a meaningful collaboration allowing us to acquire know-how in the development and protection of security devices beyond security software," he added.
“We are thrilled about this collaboration with SecuriON. Sharing respective experiences enables us to develop a unique product to protect mobile devices, and securely exchange classified communications and documents. This is a superb opportunity for KoolSpan, to improve its offering in the Korean market”, said Alessandro Ossoli, KoolSpan COO.
