Secure Mobile to Desktop Communications
TrustBridge provides secure calling between mobile phones and PBX desktop phones by enabling TrustCall encryption to be terminated at the corporate PBX.
between Mobile and Desktop Phones Overview
How it Works
KoolSpan’s TrustBridge provides a secure link between TrustCall running on the open public infrastructure and the existing desk phones on the closed private voice network. TrustBridge is installed at the edge of the corporate network; bridging secure VoIP calls in from the Internet to the internal PBX. As part of the process of connecting the secure TrustCall devices with the enterprise network, the TrustBridge translates or “bridges” the mobile- optimized and proprietary secure TrustCall VoIP protocol to the enterprise standard SIP/RTP.
TrustBridge supports secure communications between TrustCall enabled Android and iPhone devices and SIP based PBX desktop phones and includes the following features:
- Man-in-the-middle protection
- Dual-tone multi-frequency signaling (DTMF) keypad
- Opus, G.711 a-law and mu-law audio codecs
- Automatic updates
