KoolSpan Product Management - TrustCall 10.12 is now generally available
TrustCall v 10.12 is now generally available with several new features and enhancements all designed to enrich the user experience.
Groups – TrustCall provides an administrative layer controlled by a system admin that limits the people who can communicate with each other – it’s both a security feature and a usability feature. Within these larger communication circles, users may create smaller special interest groups and targeted work groups.
Managing these groups is now simpler than ever! Group creators may easily add or remove members, while members are promptly informed when someone joins or leaves the group. If you are ever wondering what happened to the group you were part of, rest assured, you’ll receive a notification if the group is deleted. And for those who prefer to keep certain groups out of sight without leaving or deleting, simply opt to hide the group. Hidden groups will resurface whenever a new message arrives, ensuring you never miss out on important discussions.
Messages Delivery updates– TrustCall goes above and beyond to protect your communication. It provides end-to-end message encryption, safeguarding sensitive information at rest and in transit.
End the guesswork surrounding your messages. Stay informed about whether your messages have been sent, successfully delivered, or read by the recipient. A single grey check indicates that your messages have been sent, a double grey check confirms successful delivery, and a blue check indicates read by the recipient. In group conversations, messages are marked as read-only when all the members have seen them, ensuring clarity and transparency in your discussion.
Notifications – In the competitive landscape of secure communication platforms, TrustCall distinguishes itself by providing its own notification service, independent of reliance on Google’s or Apple’s web-based services. This unique feature enables the user to operate within a closed network, without no dependence on the public internet.
Stay ahead of the conversation with the “typing…” feature, which indicates when someone is actively engaged in a conversation, providing real-time insights into their activity. Whether in a group or direct conversation, you’ll see who is typing, ensuring seamless communication. The individual’s name and three dots will be visible in a group conversation as they type.
